A: We strive to carry out all website migrations as fast as possible. However, we do not have a fixed time frame for website migrations. There are different aspects that you need to take into consideration – the mere size of your site and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We constantly strive to carry out each migration within 48 hours. With smaller websites, our staff typically manages to finish in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t gather any private data. We will need, though, the login info for your old hosting account along with the name of the website that you wish to transfer.

A: Your site will work exactly like it did before with your old web hosting provider. After we are done with the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If everything is working properly, all you will need to do is modify the NS resource records associated with your domain name. Your site will be migrated over to us without any downtime.

A: No. We’ll never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: We can migrate your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform provided that we can receive access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we are unable to migrate are the ones based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
